When my guy joined the military it was one of the hardest things I had ever had to deal with, and I wish that someone had told be about what I was getting myself into when he left. So, to help those who are going to be in the same situation that I am in I decided to start this blog telling people about what it's like to be in this type of relationship. I have been in a relationship with this guy for 4 months and i knew he would be leaving, but it was one of those things where it didnt get to me untill he was gone. When we first met I tryed not to fall for him but i did anyway. Im starting to get better with him being gone. and his parents have been keeping me updated but the first letter wont get here for another 2 weeks. The biggest problem is im 14 and hes 18….our parents know the situation but my father isnt all for it. I understand that though. Its very stressful not being able to talk to him. I sleep in his sweatshirt everynight, wear the jewlery he gave me and pray for him, but do u have anyother suggestions on what to do? To help cope with this situation better?
The key to to dealing with him being gone is getting used to being patient. The less patient you are the harder it is going to be to deal with it all. Also try and find something to keep your mind off of him being gone. It will be easier for you to be able to deal with him being gone if you have a distraction.
