When my guy joined the military it was one of the hardest things I had ever had to deal with, and I wish that someone had told be about what I was getting myself into when he left. So, to help those who are going to be in the same situation that I am in I decided to start this blog telling people about what it's like to be in this type of relationship. Military Girlfriend
When my guy was gone everything I did was altered so I could get his letters and talk to him on Sundays. If I had to work on Sundays my boss was nice enough to let me talk to him for a couple of minutes.
Some people will find you wanting to keep in contact with him cute and will support you. Most of those people will be friends and family, but be aware that if all you do is talk about him they will lose interest. This does not mean that they are horrible people or that they hate you, it just means that they do not want to have the same conversation with the same person every single day. Just be understanding of this and they will always be there to support you.
As for the people who would rather just have you two break up, well if you still want them to be your friend or close to you in some way you should probably watch what you are saying around them so you do not push them over the edge.
In the end most people just want what is best for you. Do what you want to be able to talk to him but be careful not to annoy those around you.
